Mora AI music ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. We are committed to protecting your data and maintaining transparency. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our AI-powered lyrics and music creation application.

1. Introduction

Mora AI music is an AI-powered music creation application that lets you generate lyrics and turn your ideas into complete songs. By using Mora, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect and Process

We collect only the information necessary to provide the service:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (processed through Firebase Authentication; your password is stored by Firebase in hashed form and is never visible to us). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by Google.
  • Device Identifier: A random identifier (install ID) generated on your device and stored in your device's secure Keychain. It is not your advertising identifier (IDFA) and is not used for tracking. It is used to create a device-scoped session and to prevent abuse of free creation quotas.
  • Technical Information: Your platform (e.g., iOS), app version, device model name, and system environment information, used to maintain sessions, ensure compatibility, and improve stability.
  • Creation Content: The lyrics and prompts you submit for generation, and the lyrics and audio files generated for you. This content is processed to deliver the service and is stored so you can access your creations.
  • Usage Data: Basic in-app event data (such as feature usage, task duration, and error information) collected directly by our own servers for analytics and stability improvements. This data is not collected by or shared with third-party analytics or advertising networks.
  • Feedback: The content you voluntarily submit when you send feedback or suggestions.
  • Membership Status: Information about your quota usage and, if applicable, your membership or subscription status.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as payment card details, contacts, precise location, health data, microphone recordings, or camera content. The app does not request access to any device sensors or system permissions beyond network access.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in;
  • Provide the AI lyrics and music generation service;
  • Maintain your session so you do not need to sign in repeatedly;
  • Manage free creation quotas and memberships, and prevent abuse (such as repeated signup abuse);
  • Improve app stability, fix errors, and understand feature usage;
  • Respond to your feedback and support requests;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

To operate the service, we share limited data with the following providers, each processing data under its own privacy policy:

  • Firebase Authentication (Google LLC): Used for account registration and sign-in (email/password and Google Sign-In). Processes your email address and authentication credentials. See the Firebase Privacy Policy.
  • MiniMax: Our AI generation provider. The lyrics and prompts you submit are sent to MiniMax to generate lyrics and music. See the MiniMax User Agreement & Privacy Policy.
  • Cloud Storage Providers: Generated audio files are stored in secure cloud storage and delivered to you via encrypted links.

We do not share your personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third parties.

5. Data Storage & Security

All network communication is transmitted via encrypted secure protocols (HTTPS/TLS). Session tokens and your device install ID are stored in the iOS Keychain, the most secure storage available on your device. Passwords are handled exclusively by Firebase Authentication and are never stored on our servers in plain text. Please note that while we strive to protect your information, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information, creation content, and related data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, we will delete your account information and associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Mora is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently processed such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights:

  • Access & Correction: You can view and update your account information in the app.
  • Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us via email.
  • Sign Out: You can sign out of your account at any time in the app settings.
  • Stop Data Transmission: You can stop future collection of local data by uninstalling the application, which removes all locally stored data (including your session token and install ID).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
